MELAKA : Klebang assemblyman Datuk Lim Ban Hong captured a captivating image of a flock of Great Egrets in a padi field in Pulau Gadong, sparking nostalgic memories of his youth and the festive village atmosphere where locals gathered to watch the elegant birds.
The Great Egret, a large heron species with all-white plumage, is renowned for its striking appearance.These majestic birds can also be seen along the coastlines of Klebang. "We only looked at everyone as our brethren during that period. I miss that era," he shared during an interview on Sunday . During his visit, he also launched the 10th anniversary of Kiat Swan Garden Villa, a site with historical significance dating back to the late 1800s.
