Exactly 15 years after moving its operation to Fairview Park before eventually relocating to Westlake, Gray House Pies has returned to Lakewood. The popular bakery, now with a coffee shop, last week opened its doors on Detroit Avenue.

The roughly 900-square-foot location offers a variety of baked goods, including pies, quiche, gooey cake brownies and cookies. That’s also an apt description for Schlott the businessman who recently opened not one but two additional food operations at a different Lakewood location.“It’s just really exciting to finally be able to let loose. Half of this stuff may flop, I don’t know, but I’m just doing it.”
