Grab introduces GrabShuttle Beta in Putrajaya. It's a more affordable shuttle service covering to and from Putrajaya Sentral, with fares as low as RM3 per ride.
Since it is GrabShuttle is now offered as a Beta, it has limited service area and operating hours at the moment.
Grab describes the service as a bit of both Grab ride and a shuttle service. You’ll still be picked up in a car and get dropped off at your designated doorstep.and you’ll be sharing the ride with up to 2 other passengers. That’s a total of 3 passengers per car but take note that the service only acceptsThe GrabShuttle Beta service currently covers areas within Putrajaya which include Presint 1-5, 8,9,18, Masjid Putra, IOI CIty Mall and UITM.
According to the description, it may time some time to match your ride with other passengers travelling in the same direction and passengers will be picked up within 15 to 30 minutes of booking. When we did a quick check, a GrabShuttle ride from Putrajaya Sentral to a government building in Presint 4 costsif nobody else is sharing with you. Meanwhile rides to Putrajaya International Convention Centre and UITM Dengkil campus cost. So your total fare cost will only be cheaper if your ride is matched with another rider heading to the same direction.
