Grab Philippines said it was surprised by the decision of the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) to impose a new penalty on the remaining refund for its customers and is evaluating its legal options on the fine. ManilaBulletin
"We are surprised at PCC's decision to fine us - given that we've been proactively engaging with them for over a year with proposals for alternative mechanisms to disburse the remaining administrative fees," Grab Philippines said in a statement.
Grab PH said it has always been 100 percent committed to fully depleting the unclaimed admin fees, and have made every effort to to do so. Thus, it proposed alternative disbursement mechanisms.
