KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has yet to discuss whether it will help to campaign in the upcoming state elections in Peninsular Malaysia, says Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

"I will discuss it with other GPS leaders first," the Sarawak Premier, who is also GPS chairman, said on Tuesday .

On Sunday , Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had requested GPS to assist its partners in the unity government to campaign in the six state polls. The six states holding elections are Selangor, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu. "This is in line with our policy to provide early education for our children wherever they are, including in remote areas," he said.
