Govt to study proposed ‘compassionate aid’ for Felda folk

THE government will study a Felda committee’s proposal that a RM500 “compassionate aid” be given to 30,000 settlers. Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali said Putrajaya does not want settlers to be burdened should their living allowance be reduced to RM1,000 from the current RM1,500.
