Govt to get minimum wage panel’s recommendations by August 2019

THE government expects to get recommendations from the Minimum Wage Technical Committee by August next year at the latest.
Human Resources Minister M. Kula Segaran said the panel is in the midst of a study and gathering views from stakeholders on a minimum wage rate that is “appropriate in the current situation”.
