Govt targets 6 waste-to-energy plants by 2021

THE Housing and Local Government Ministry aims to have at least six waste-to-energy plants built nationwide by next week. Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said the WTE system is cleaner, more productive and economical than the conventional landfill that requires a large area of land.
