Govt targets 195 robots to 10,000 workers in operation by 2030
With the ratio of robots to human labour only at 55 units per 10,000 people, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Dr Adham Baba says drone technology and relevant industry knowledge will be taught in school-level STEM curricula. – EPA pic, June 25, 2022.
He said among the robotic fields that have the potential to be developed and are needed at the moment is drone technology. He said to achieve the goal, Mosti will work with MOE to introduce drone technology and relevant industry knowledge in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics syllabus for schools.
