Govt starts enforcing anti-sexual harassment act
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says the enforcement of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act 2022 starts with the definition, awareness, and prevention of sexual harassment. – Pixabay pic, March 28, 2023.
“It takes into account the importance of educating the people and increasing their understanding and awareness of the seriousness of issues involving sexual harassment before this act is fully enforced,” it said. “When the understanding and awareness of sexual harassment and its effects on the victims can be enhanced in the community, it helps provide a safe environment,” it said.
