Organisers have notificed the police, says Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police say a unity rally organised by the government in the city centre tomorrow will be allowed to go on.

Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said the Solidarity for Peace rally will be held from 7.30am to 11am. Participants are expected to gather in front of the Sogo shopping complex before marching to Dataran Merdeka. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mujahid Yusof Rawa has advised participants to wear white, and not to carry the logos of political parties.

The rally is aimed at sending a message to the world that Malaysians want peace and reject any violence, following the New Zealand mosque massacres that left 50 people killed.
