IPOH: With car child seats becoming mandatory beginning 2020, the government is looking for ways to help needy folk get these special seats, as not everyone can afford it, says Hannah Yeoh.
The Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister said recycling old child car seats was one of the options they were looking at.
“A lot of families have bought these and kept them at home once their children are all grown up, ” Yeoh told reporters after opening the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital Anjung Kasih wing here on Saturday .“We are still considering it and will reveal more once we have more information. We also urge manufacturers or sellers to help out, ” she added.
