Govt-linked translation company to trim staff by 50%

GOVERNMENT-LINKED Malaysian Institute of Translation & Books will scale down operations to ensure that it can keep functioning, axing about half of its more than 100 workforce, sources said. Staff of the GLC were informed about a month ago that about 50% of ITBM’s 116 employees will be laid off. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
