The Australian government won’t legalise nuclear energy as they’re “scared” it will be viable and their renewable “green dream” will be proven wrong, says Sky News host Caleb Bond.

His comments come as an internet company in Sweden wants to build their own nuclear reactor to power their business and supply enough power for 30,000 local households.

“The people who say nuclear energy is not viable in this country, if they truly believe that – unban it and let the market decide,” he said.“But they’re scared that it will be viable, and they’ll be proven wrong on their renewable green dream when they discover we’ve got cheap, reliable, emission-free nuclear power.”
