Govt allocates RM60 million for disabled people, says Wan Azizah

THE federal government has allocated RM60.6 million until last January to help 175,156 registered people with disabilities under the allowance scheme for OKU employees, assistance for bedridden OKU patients and aid for unemployed OKU, said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. This, she said, reflected the government’s concern for the OKU, as well as proof that disable people were never neglected.
