Government lacks will to reconvene Parliament, says Wong

HOME Minister Hamzah Zainuddin has been slammed over his comment that Parliament can only convene once herd immunity is reached, by Ipoh Timor MP Wong Kah Woh. Wong, who also serves as chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, said that Hamzah’s statement only reaffirms the belief that the Perikatan Nasional government has no political will to reconvene Parliament any time soon.
