Gov’t bids out Tacloban airport project

The Department of Transportation has proceeded with its plan to rehabilitate regional airports amid the resurgence of air travel as it started the bidding process for the P661.31-million upgrade of Tacloban Airport. | TyronePiad /PDI

“The DOTr reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award,” the agency said.

Apart from the Tacloban Airport, the projects include construction and enhancement of airports in Tuguegarao, San Vicente , Antique, Bacolod-Silay, Catbalogan, Davao , M’Lang , Sanga-Sanga and Ozamis.
