Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has discredited the list circulating on social media as the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Caretaker Committee.

Governor Fubara , who spoke during the inauguration ceremony for the construction of the Port Harcourt International Automobile Spare Parts Trading and Commercial Centre, urged members of the public to disregard the list, branding it as fabricated and lacking credibility. According to the governor, the list 'holds no merit.' He said: “We agreed, not just in Rivers State, but in all the states affected, that the excos should be extended for three months.

“This extension is not bringing in new things; the extension also did not say 'be working without the authority of the governor.' So, for those lists you saw and those altered, I can assure you they're not going to stand. “We also agreed that there is a NEC meeting on the 18th of April for this cause that should ratify that decision. So, what you are seeing are desperate people who like media. Empty drums. Don’t bother with anything. Nothing is happening.
