Google Workspace now allows admins to migrate conversations from Microsoft Teams channels to Google Chat spaces. The feature, currently in open beta, uses a dedicated console to manage the migration process. Admins can specify source to destination identity mapping and select the start date for migration. The tool only migrates data to existing user accounts with active Google Chat licenses and will not alter existing Google Chat spaces. Delta migrations are also possible to move newly added messages. Google Workspace admins can export detailed reports outlining the migration's progress.
