Google Pixel 9a is on its way to Malaysia. The new entry-level Pixel model will be priced lower than the iPhone 16e.
. The new device joined the existing lineup of Pixel 9 Series smartphones which also includes the standard Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
At the same time, the company also did not reveal the actual release date for the Pixel 9a for Malaysia. Nevertheless, we were told that consumers in Malaysia can expect the Pixel 9a to be available in our market via Google Store and retail partners sometime this April. However, it only comes with 8GB of RAM. As mentioned earlier, the Pixel 9a is available with two internal storage configurations including 128GB and 256GB although it is not yet known which version will be released over here.
At the same time, the pOLED display also has a native resolution of 2424 x 1080 alongside dynamic refresh rate capability which can go as high as 120Hz. To guarantee its durability, the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 while the Pixel 9a itself is designed to meet the IP68 standard.
