Google released a new AI video editing app called Google Vids in April this year and announced that it would test it in Google Workspace Labs in June. According
to reports, the app was quietly launched last Friday and entered the testing phase with complete functions.
For your information, the AI video editing tool integrates the Gemini model and can help users create videos, including making slides, writing video scripts, finding materials from Shutterstock, and creating storyboard scripts for the entire video. Users can edit videos by adding or removing elements such as slides, text fields, images, and audio, and ultimately export them as MP4 files.
In addition, you can find the entry to this function in the Google Docs document processing tool. After creating a new project, just briefly describe the theme or desired effect of the video, and you can also ask AI to use specified files in the Google Drive drive as materials. However, the current beta version lacks an AI dubbing function.
