Good tuition news for mid-Atlantic East Stroudsburg University students

East Stroudsburg University will start offering residents of neighboring states discounted tuition.

East Stroudsburg University

will offer a special tuition rate for residents of certain states that neighbor Pennsylvania starting this fall. The discounted rate will be offered to first-time freshmen and new transfers who live in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia. It will also be offered to continuing students from these states starting fall of 2022.

These out-of-state students will pay $402.50 per credit or $4,830 per semester for full-time students taking 12-18 credits per semester. The cost is comparable to other in-state tuition rates, the university reports.“Creating a special rate for students who reside in adjacent states is a policy commonly followed in other areas of the country,” Lucas said. “We want to help students fulfill their dreams of going away to college.
