Goldman Sachs’ offer to Pakatan govt was too low, says Tommy Thomas

THE previous Pakatan Harapan government had rejected a settlement with Goldman Sachs as the amount on offer was very low compared to Malaysia’s total loss, said Tommy Thomas today. The former attorney-general was responding to Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz’s remarks that Putrajaya struck a better deal on its settlement with Goldman Sachs compared with what was offered previously.
