on being voted Player of the Week for Aug. 29-Sept. 3! Ferguson buried the decisive penalty kick in a 1-0 win over rival University. Ferguson, who accumulated 1,379 votes, narrowly beat out Zionsville's Katie Chadwick .The senior goalkeeper made 12 saves in a 2-1 win over Ben Davis. He also stopped seven shots in a shutout of Scecina. Bennett has allowed just five goals and made 54 saves in nine appearances.
Cebalo delivered the game-winner over Chesterton with 37 minutes left in regulation. She also scored a goal in a win over Lawrence North. The sophomore has seven goals on 35 shots this season.The junior enjoyed a six-goal week. He delivered the game-winner in a 1-0 win over HSE, scored a hat trick in a 6-0 rout of Pendleton Heights, then rounded out his week with a pair of goals in a 3-0 win over Columbus East. Clayton has 18 goals and five assists this season.
It was a three-point week for Rendes who tallied an assist in a 3-0 win over Triton Central, and scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Pike. She has eight goals and three helpers on the year.The junior defender logged her first goals of the season, striking twice against Pike, then netting the equalizer against West Lafayette.Welty dished out three assists and scored a couple goals in a win over Western Boone.
