‘Go a bit too far’: Debate ignites over ‘polarising’ Panthers as NRL champs accused of ‘arrogance’
The NRL 360 panel debated on Monday night whether or not the side had polarising players.
Phil Rothfield argued against the claim and said he enjoyed watching them play but Braith Anasta said everyone respects good football and emphasised that wasn’t the question. “Well there’s your answer then, they’re not polarising because you can’t not enjoy watching them play,” Rothfield said.“Because sometimes they go a bit too far and carry on a bit on the field, off the field. I love Jarome Luai, I think he’s one of the great entertainers in our game but we know Jarome has polarised people and I think they’ve got guys in that team who are polarising.Jarome Luai of the Panthers.
