A glider crashed into trees while attempting to land at Blairstown Airport in Warren County on Sunday afternoon, federal authorities said.
One pilot was on board when the craft went down at about 2 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said. Information about injuries to the pilot were not immediately available.The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board, which is also investigating the crash, identified the glider as a Schweizer SGS 2-33A.describe the glider as one of the most popular training gliders - which are also called sailplanes.
