The people should be patient and not expect tangible results overnight from the week-old Unity Federal Government, said Sabah Pakatan Harapan Chairman Datuk Christina Liew.
Kota Kinabalu: .“We have to give the Government the chance to perform and prove its mettle in resolving the country’s outstanding problems. “Deeply-entrenched issues such as corruption and financial leakage cannot be resolved, simply at the stroke of a pen. And government leaders need ample time to implement the development agenda for the nation,” she said.Two billboards have been erected, one here and in Tawau, as a show of support by Sabah PH.
“We wish him fruitful outcomes in his advocacy for the principles of good governance, transparency and accountability in administering the country,” she said in a statement.The process of nation-building involves the proactive participation of all stakeholders, including civil society and the civil service, she added.
