Lawyer Latheefa Koya must be given the chance to prove her mettle as Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission chief commissioner, said the government’s top anti-corruption adviser Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed.
While many have criticised the appointment of the former PKR leader known for her tenacious nature, Abu Kassim said people should look at her capabilities instead of focusing on her past. “If that person is assertive, neutral, professional and is able to decide without fear or favour, then he or she should be supported.Abu Kassim was speaking at the Bicara Minda forum hosted by Sinar Harian, which was also moderated by veteran journalist Tan Sri Johan Jaffar.
