Giants general manager Joe Schoen is checking out a big college football game on Saturday.
On the eve of the Giants’ game in Las Vegas, general manager Joe Schoen is spending Saturday night in Los Angeles, scouting USC’s game against Washington.
Remember, too, Schoen has an extra second-round pick, from the Leonard Williams trade with Seattle. So Schoen can use that as ammo to move up a few spots for a quarterback. Jones on Sunday is returning from a three-game absence, caused by a neck injury. What will he show in the final nine games, presuming he stays healthy?
Williams is the No. 1 overall prospect on Pro Football Focus’ 2024 big board. Penix is No. 21 — and No. 4 among quarterbacks, behind Williams, North Carolina’s Drake Maye, and Oregon’s Bo Nix.
