New Jersey utility companies are offering sales and instant rebates.
As the cold winter months approach, New Jersey’s energy companies are offering a deal to help homeowners control their energy bills.
JCP&L, PSE&G and Atlantic City Electric are offering the Google Nest thermostat, regularly priced at around $130, at steep discounts through the end of the year. The smart thermostat allows homeowners to control temperatures from anywhere through the Google Home app, something that can help you save money on your heating and cooling costs.
“By implementing energy efficiency initiatives like smart thermostats, JCP&L customers can take more control of their electric bills and enjoy a comfortable home environment at a lower cost in the long term,” said Nicole Williams, manager of residential energy efficiency programs for JCP&L’s parent company, FirstEnergy. “Offering smart thermostats at a greatly discounted price boosts accessibility so all customers can access this important energy-saving tool.
