A Georgia woman was arrested Tuesday and accused of stealing an ambulance in Henry County and leading police on a high-speed chase of almost 50 miles.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Andrea Bryant, 58, was arrested early Tuesday along Interstate Highway 475 attempting to flee on foot after officers used a deflation device to puncture two of the
ambulance’s tires.She is charged with fleeing, speeding, and failing to maintain her lane on the road. In Henry County, law enforcement said, she will face additional charges pertaining to her alleged theft of the ambulance.
