Firefighters in Georgetown succeeded in a tricky rescue, pulling a delicate fawn out of a rain gutter.
Crews with Engine 3 and Engine 6 responded to the scene, where a woman who lives nearby explained the situation.Pflugerville ISD approves 3% pay raise for district staff“Between my house and the other house,” the woman replied. “In the backyard. I only heard [the fawn] crying for about 15 minutes.” Her explanation was cut off as the group of spectators gasped. A firefighter who had climbed down into the drain passed the baby to a firefighter waiting up top.
The firefighter carried the fawn over to where its mother was last seen. The video showed no sign of her.Facebook commenters also speculated about the doe’s whereabouts.
