Police have now correctly identified the seven victims who died in the Genting Highlands tourist van crash after family member confirmation. Full report:
Pahang police chief Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said it was Wong Ah Moi @ Wong Seh Moi, 83,who was killed in the accident and not Goh Siew Kim, 61, as initially reported.Genting Highlands accident: Family member says 61-year-old 'victim' still aliveThe others killed in the accident were Wong Choun Chiet, 49; Foong Ah Lan, 67; Lee Moy, 67; Ang Meng Hong, 62; Seow Mee Tin, 72; and Chang Them Kong, 70.
There were 14 people – including two drivers – in the vehicle during the incident which occurred at around 1.15pm Wednesday at KM4.8 of Jalan Genting Highlands.
