Geely has introduced the Galaxy L6 EM-i, a plug-in hybrid sedan featuring a redesigned interior and the NordThor 2.0 powertrain.

Geely has officially revealed the Galaxy L6 EM-i plug-in hybrid sedan, powered by the NordThor (Leishen) modular hybrid powertrain family. The exterior of the L6 EM-i remains largely unchanged from the 2024 L6 currently sold in China, with the exception of conventional door handles replacing the flush-mounted ones. Dimensions are expected to be the same as the L6, measuring 4,782 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,489 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,752 mm.

According to information from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the L6 EM-i utilizes the NordThor 2.0 powertrain, featuring the BHE15-BFN 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82 kW (111 PS) and 136 Nm of torque. This is combined with an electric motor delivering 107 kW (145 PS) and 338 Nm, drawing from lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with capacities ranging from 8.5 kWh to 19.09 kWh. This setup provides a pure electric range of 48 km and 115 km, respectively. While the exterior has minor updates compared to the L6, the interior has undergone more significant revisions. The infotainment screen is now landscape-oriented instead of the previous portrait orientation. The center console boasts wireless device charging and a rotary control dial, replacing the covered compartment, along with dual cupholders. Apart from the screen orientation, this layout resembles the Galaxy L7 SUV. The multi-function steering wheel has also been redesigned into a two-spoke layout
