The Geely Auto Group has opened a new design center in Milan, Italy. The Geely Auto Innovation Design Center Italy will serve as the carmaker’s hub for creativity and design in Europe.
According to Geely, the opening of a European hub for design and innovation in one of the fashion and design capitals of the world was strongly supported by the company’s management, with the aim of reaffirming the central role of design and creativity in the present and in the future of the brand. The Geely Auto Innovation Design Center Italy plans to become a key partner for Geely Auto Design HQ in Shanghai and for the other design centers abroad. The Milan based design center will work on research and development programs for concept cars such as the and production vehicles and will be a think tank for cutting edge ideas.
The design center is currently in the process of recruiting and of organizing all logistical aspects.
