GE15: Perak BN chairman says poorer than Rafizi, no problem declaring assets

IPOH: I am far poorer than Rafizi Ramli, says Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, adding that he had no problem declaring his assets.

“While it is not made compulsory by the Election Commissioner to declare assets, I have no issue revealing it,” the Perak Barisan Nasional chairman told reporters after announcing the state's Barisan manifesto at Meru Raya here Tuesday

"We are in suspense for Anwar and his family since they have yet to announce their assets,” he added.He added that by declaring them, it will instil public confidence in both elected officials and the institutions they serve should the candidate come into office.
