KOTA KINABALU: The Pakatan Harapan coalition in Sabah is working well together in this election, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said there was no denying the possibility that there might be ‘cracks’ here and there, they have not encountered any problems with the Pakatan parties working together.
“Even in Tawau, where we were on Saturday , there was a strong DAP presence to support,” he said after an event in Putatan near here.On questions that the three main coalitions - Pakatan, Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional - will not emerge with a simple majority at the end of Nov 19, Anwar asked, “Who said?”.
He said he has gone to almost all the states in the country and he felt that there is a strong indication that Pakatan can win a simple majority. Asked if he will retire from politics if Pakatan failed to win and form the government, he said the focus now was to achieve victory and there was no reason to think of such a negative stance now.He also called for support towards the Putatan candidate Awang Suhaini Sahari and Penampang’s Datuk Ewon Benedick, who is from Upko.
