GE15: Orang Asli voters in Tapah want candidates to visit, see what they need

TAPAH: Voters at Kampung Orang Asli Batu 3 hope that 15th General Election (GE15) candidates will visit them to talk about their needs.

Shairy, 30, said on Friday he had yet to meet any of the six candidates vying for the Tapah parliamentary seat.

"If they come here regularly, we can show them what they can do to improve our lives," he said, adding that some 100 people are living in the area. "I don't want my children to be left behind. Maybe the candidates can look into how they can provide free tuition classes for children in the kampung," she said.Sham, 53, said she is proud to have voting rights and looks forward to polling day on Nov 19.
