KOTA BARU: Malaysia needs leaders who are free from corruption, have high integrity and a clear vision, says Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
"We don't want those who will be occupied with court trials and are being charged. Where is the direction of our country then? The rakyat is already familiar with Barisan Nasional's leadership who ruled for 60 years and Pakatan Harapan for 22 months," he said.
Tuan Ibrahim said Perikatan should be the people's choice compared to Barisan who he claimed dropped dedicated leaders and instead fielded “problematic leaders”. The PAS deputy president said this after the Kelantan Perikatan Nasional candidates announcement here on Wednesday . Tuan Ibrahim said all Perikatan candidates were vetted, including with the PAS Syura Ulama Council, along with Bersatu and PAS leaders.
