KUANTAN: Young voters here are excited about casting their ballot for the first time but they just hope the floods don't spoil their first polling day experience.
A first-time voter, who wanted to be known only as Izzati, 20, said she had already made up her mind on who to vote for, based on feedback from and discussions with her family and friends."Even if it rains heavily, I’ll definitely go out to vote. But floods are very different. Hopefully, it doesn't flood on voting day," said Izzati, who lives in Semambu."It is not easy when it floods.
"I want to vote and choose who I want as my representative. I am excited. But, if it floods, who knows whether I will be able to get out and vote.
