SEGAMAT: MIC is working hard to win back its lone parliamentary seat in Johor including roping in its former president and its former MP to canvass for votes in the constituency.
Tan Sri Dr S. Subramaniam, who was Segamat MP for three terms since 2004, had been going around to help his fellow party mate Tan Sri M. Ramasamy who was contesting the seat now.
He said this was the only seat among the 26 parliamentary seats in Johor with three Indian candidates from the three major coalitions. "However I do not see DAP helping the Indian candidate from PKR or PAS helping the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s Indian candidate," he said, adding that he would be voting in Segamat this Saturday .
