Motorists should expect another round of increase in the per liter price of gasoline next week.
In its fuel price forecast for May 30 to June 5 trading week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said gasoline prices may go up by P1.00 to P1.20 per liter.Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented on the following day.
Effective Tuesday, May 23, 2023, fuel firms hiked the price of gasoline by P0.80 per liter and increase diesel price by P0.60 per liter.The latest price movements brought the year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P5.05 per liter and kerosene at P6.40 per liter.—LBG, GMA Integrated News
