Plano police and firefighters are investigating a large amount of gasoline fumes emitting from a sewage system just off Central Expressway.A restaurant and Rooms 2 Go store have been evacuated.
The Plano Fire Department was first called to the area at 1:30 Friday afternoon for an odor investigation.There was concern the fumes could be ignited and cause an explosion.The evacuation orders have been lifted. Plano Fire is still asking for people in the area to shelter in place.Plano Fire is still looking at the cause of the fumes.
