Gas Malaysia resumes full supply after curtailment lifted

Gas Malaysia Bhd said it has received confirmation from its gas supplier on Tuesday on the lifting of the curtailment at the Shah Alam and Batu Tiga city gate stations. PETALING JAYA: Gas Malaysia Bhd has resumed full gas supply operations following the lifting of a curtailment imposed after the gas pipeline fire at Putra Heights, Subang Jaya.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said it had received official confirmation from its gas supplier on Tuesday on the lifting of the curtailment at the Shah Alam and Batu Tiga city gate stations.It said gas supply operations have resumed as per the quantities stipulated in the gas supply agreements with customers.Previously, the group reported disruptions in gas supply after the Putra Heights incident, which led to precautionary curtailments at several stations to ensure safety and system integrity.The supply cuts covered Shah Alam, Kundang, Petaling Jaya, Teluk Panglima Garang, Port Klang, and Pulau Indah and its surrounding areas, as well as Merbau, Tronoh, Perai, Junjung and Hutan Melintang.
