Garmin Unveils VenuSq2 Series With AMOLED Screen And Longer Battery Life
. With the two-year gap, Garmin has made significant upgrades to Venu Sq Series but this has also led to some increase in the price tag though.
One of the major upgrades that Garmin has implemented on the Venu Sq 2 released is the 1.41-inch AMOLED touch display, which is notably better than the 1.3-inch LCD display found on the predecessors. The watches are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and surrounded by an aluminium bezel while they are also rated for water resistance up to 5 ATM, allowing you to swim without having to take off the devices.
For those who are familiar with Garmin devices, then you may already able to guess that the difference between the standard Venu Sq 2 and the Music Edition is that the latter has onboard storage for downloading music for offline and phone-free listening. Users can store up to 500 songs on the watch, including playlists from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer.
Available in three colourways each, the Garmin Venu Sq 2 and Venu Sq 2 Music Edition retail for US$249.99 and US$299.99 respectively which is a whole US$50 more than the previous models. The company has not yet announced pricing or availability for the Malaysian market.
