Gareth Edwards has no plans for The Creator 2.
Summary Director Gareth Edwards reveals whether he plans to continue the story of The Creator with a sequel. The movie is set in a world where AI robots are at war with humanity, and Joshua, an ex-special forces soldier with a grudge, is tasked with finding a new weapon crafted by the mysterious architect of AI, The Creator. Once Joshua finds the weapon, he discovers it is an AI robot in the form of a child, which forces Joshua to reexamine his understanding of the world and the war.
Gareth Edwards: We had a lot of material. We shot a lot. And okay, so look, I would love to go back to this world. There are so many things I didn't get to do that I would just absolutely love to do. But my girlfriend's a massive, when we sit and we have some dinner or something, let's watch something. She wants to watch TV shows. I want to watch films.
