The funeral of mum-of-five, Josephine took place in St Mary of the Rosary Church in Nenagh on Friday

In a statement released by Gardai on Friday afternoon, a spokesperson confirmed two arrests in connection with the investigation had been made. "Two people, a man and woman aged in their 50s, were arrested today, Friday 9th August 2024 in relation to this investigation. They are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Garda stations in the Southern Region. Investigations are ongoing."
"She was some woman for dancing and anything that was on in town she would be at it with my mother Sarah," Josephine's granddaughter, Rosie, told mourners.
