Friends, family, former enemies, all of which mixed for a series of non-stop emotional payoffs, many of which have literally been years in the making.
Theon showing up to fight for Sansa, who wraps him up in a big hug, as he was the one who saved her from Ramsay. Theon also gets to fight to defend Bran specifically, someone he stole the castle from in his quest for power and family honor just a few years earlier. The Hound drinks with Arya, who questions why he’s there fighting for anyone, and he reminds her that he fought for her, once.
