Menurut pendakwah bebas, Ustaz Azhar Idrus fasik bermaksud seorang individu yang tidak patuh kepada perintah-perintah Allah SWT. Namun seseorang itu masih boleh menjadi wali dengan syarat perlu bertaubat terlebih dahulu serta tidak mengulangi dosa tersebut. “Tiada lagi yang kaya, last-last curi gelang mak, curi cincin ayah, curi duit tok ki . Tak payahlah berjudi,” katanya lagi.
