The Galaxy Buds 2 have been redesigned by Samsung for a more comfortable fit so that you can wear it all day without any discomfort. At the same time, it offers premium sound quality thanks to the addition of ANC to the Galaxy Buds 2, something that wasn’t on the Galaxy Buds Plus. There’s also an ambient sound mode so that you can change the amount of surrounding noise you can hear through the earbuds.
As for the design, Samsung states that these are their smallest and lightest wireless earbuds ever at just 5 grams per earbud. It looks similar to the more premium Galaxy Buds Pro, and also has a woofer and tweeter in each earbud for better highs and deeper basses. They come in four different colours: graphite, white, olive and lavender.
There’s also two outer beamforming mics, an inner mic and a voice pickup unit for better quality calls on the go. Meanwhile, you can also change the equalizer settings from your phone to tweak the sound to your liking. Furthermore, Samsung claims that you’ll get up to 5 hours of continuous use with ANC on, with the charging case getting you an extra 15 hours for a total of 20 hours of battery life. If you prefer to turn off ANC, you can extend battery life to 7.5 hours and 29 hours when paired with the charging case. The charging case itself meanwhile can be charged via wireless charging.
